Yesterday evening, Robert Habeck, Germany’s Federal Minister of Economics, has awarded our application & concept of the Startup Factory RUHR for the next phase of the flagship competition Startup Factories at the EXIST - Existenzgründungen aus der Wissenschaft congress in Berlin.

The joint application from BRYCK, RAG-Stiftung and the University Alliance Ruhr was selected as one of 15 nationwide projects from a total of 26 applications representing 125 universities and scientific institutions.

  • BRYCK, RAG-Stiftung and the University Alliance Ruhr of Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Technische Universität Dortmund and Universität Duisburg-Essen have joined forces to build a leading, excellence-focused Startup Factory to boost the quantity and quality of knowledge-based startups
  • In the concept phase, we will now create the organizational and structural foundations to leverage the enormous scientific potential for innovation, establish the Startup Factory RUHR and operate it as an entrepreneur
