PropTech Pilot

Automated Ventilation

Validate your technology, collaborate with leading experts and demonstrate real-world impact.

The BRYCK Pilot is a 6-month venture client program enabling startups to test and scale solutions in industrial settings.

Humidity is one of the most persistent challenges in residential buildings — and one of the hardest to tackle, because ventilation depends on daily routines that housing providers cannot reliably influence. Together with LEG Immobilien SE, we are looking for technologies that remove humidity automatically and independently of tenant behaviour.

Programme Overview

Target group:

Startups and early-stage companies developing automated, low-maintenance technologies for ventilation and moisture control or removal, designed for minimally disruptive retrofit in occupied residential buildings.

Cost & budget:

No participation fees. No equity is taken. Selected startups receive financial support with covered project costs of up to €TBD.

Milestones:

  • TBD | Application deadline
  • TBD | Pitch event (remote)
  • TBD | Kick-off (on-site)
  • TBD | Execution phase (on-site & remote)
  • TBD | Closing session (on-site)

Your Challenge

With LEG, one of Germany’s leading listed housing companies, the pilot provides access to a large-scale residential portfolio and the expertise needed to validate your solution under genuine operational conditions.

Startups are expected to look beyond conventional mould treatment and address the root cause: reducing indoor humidity and ensuring reliable air exchange in occupied apartments without requiring any action from tenants or compromising the living space.three years of high-resolution historical water level data. Ideally, the model should be capable of generating forecasts several weeks ahead while demonstrating accuracy and robustness under real-world conditions.

Solutions should be minimally invasive to retrofit, low-maintenance, cost-efficient to install and operate, robust in everyday use, and scalable — ideally with low-energy or power-independent operation, heat recovery, no visible ductwork or continuous noise, and no loss of daylight or comfort.integration of additional data sources — such as weather, geological or infrastructure data — is encouraged to enhance predictive quality.
